Dera Dida Yami of Ethiopia clinched the women’s title in 2:23:18 in Cape Town 2026. Kipchoge participated and finished 16th in the elite field. These results confirm Esa’s victory and Yami’s Cape Town 2026 crown. The men’s record for the course plus wheelchair records were established during the race.
