Macklin Celebrini returned to the lineup and found the back of the net in a close loss to the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie forward, who had been sidelined, appeared in the game alongside fellow prospect Will Smith, who played in the big league. Despite the loss, the Sharks saw a bright spot as Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal in a separate game against the Boston Bruins.
