Medicare open enrollment for 2027 is scheduled to begin in October 2026. This enrollment period will include a sum of $90 for Part B beneficiaries, although several will not qualify. Changes are anticipated in Medicare Advantage plans, with 34 health systems terminating contracts. The Part D deductible will climb to $700 in 2027. Enrollment counselors in Iowa are making arrangements for higher requests as 87,000 recipients face termination of plans.
