The facility features nine gates, 28 check-in counters, three security checkpoints, and local shops. Initial services come from Porter Airlines and Pascan Aviation. This development reiterates MET as a complementary hub to Montréal-Trudeau, aiming to relieve congestion at the region’s main airport while awaiting further expansion plans including REM connectivity. The project is valued at about $4B, with future growth planned to add additional carriers and enhanced curbside facilities.
