SpaceX lifted off with a Starlink mission during the morning of Aug. 25. The rocket took to the skies. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, marking a fresh rocket reuse record. The flight represented the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Morning skywatchers expected to see a jellyfish effect high above. Spaceflight Now and Space streamed live coverage of the event.
SpaceX also planned to announce its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA positioned its next star space telescope aboard a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch happens Aug. 30.
