Celebrity Traitors' Alan Carr calls fellow contestants ‘thick’ for this jarring reason

Alan Carr calls fellow Celebrity Traitors contestants “thick”

Alan Carr humorously labeled his Celebrity Traitors co-stars “thick” after none of them realized he was secretly the Traitor throughout the entire series. The comedian recently headed to Florida before the show’s finale, joking that he had become “the most hated man in the UK” after eliminating both Celia Imrie and his real-life friend Paloma Faith on the BBC program.

“That’s why I’m in America. I’m the most hated man in Britain,”

he told Heart Radio while visiting Universal Studios in Orlando with his niece and nephew. Alan admitted he was surprised that no one had noticed his role earlier.

“I’ve got loads of celebrity friends, but are they thick?”

he said with a laugh. He even confessed to struggling to keep a straight face during the darker moments of the show.

“I’m giggling when people are murdered. When they don’t come down for breakfast, I just stick cheese in my mouth.”

At 49, Alan described the experience as both exhausting and addictive.

“It’s stressful murdering every day… but I’m getting a taste for it.”

Reactions from fellow contestants

Cat Burns, 25, shared that she’s been dealing with sudden fame after the show by keeping a low profile.

“I’ve mainly just been staying at home,”

she told The Times, calling the attention “a bit mad.”

Former contestant Kate Garraway also expressed her support for Alan, saying on BBC Radio Two that his unpredictability could be what helps him clinch the win.

“I think he’s going to win. I’m going to say it now.”

She added that his infectious laughter during challenges might have been his secret advantage.
