New Goodwill Store Opens in Fort Oglethorpe
Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area inaugurated a new store and donation center in Fort Oglethorpe on Thursday morning. The opening ceremony began at 8:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting, followed by the store opening at 9 a.m.
Location and Facilities
The new store is located at 1873 Battlefield Parkway within the Battlefield Centre shopping center, right next to Planet Fitness. The facility offers approximately 15,660 square feet of retail space, with the total building area reaching about 37,224 square feet.
Features and Services
This site combines a Goodwill retail store and a Donation Xpress Center, allowing customers to donate gently used items and shop all in one place.
Existing Store Status
Goodwill confirmed that the original Fort Oglethorpe store and donation center near Big Lots on Battlefield Parkway will continue to operate.
Opening Day Celebration
Attendees of the opening event had the chance to participate in door prizes and giveaways as part of the festivities.
