PlayStation Plus Premium members can now stream select PS5 titles directly on the PS Portal device, expanding how players enjoy their game libraries.
Since launching the PS Portal remote player in November 2023, PlayStation has enhanced the device with features like improved public Wi-Fi support and user experience upgrades. Last year’s Cloud Streaming beta allowed access to selected PS5 games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics without needing a PS5 console connection via Remote Play.
Starting November 5 at 6pm PT / November 6 at 2am GMT, PS Portal introduces a significant update. The official launch of Cloud Streaming for PS5 games is now available for PlayStation Plus Premium members, adding several new features to improve gameplay experience.
With this update, PlayStation Plus Premium users can stream select digital PS5 games directly from their personal libraries, broadening access to popular titles without physical consoles.
"At PlayStation, we’re always working to push the boundaries of how players experience games."
This update marks a major step forward for PlayStation Portal, enhancing remote play flexibility and access for Premium subscribers.
