LEWISTON — Residents of Niagara County are not the only ones affected by the strained relations between the United States and Canada. Officials from just across the river are seeking to improve the connection between the two countries.
At the annual Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce Luncheon with Leaders, held Thursday afternoon, representatives from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, attended the event. The delegation included Lord Mayor Gary Zapela, Chief Administrative Officer Nick Ruller, and Director of Community and Development Services Kirsten McCauley.
This gathering offers a platform for business leaders and elected officials to engage in discussions about pressing issues. This year’s focus was on strengthening U.S.-Canada relations.
