Remembrance Day Ceremonies Across Niagara Region
Communities throughout the Niagara region are holding events to honour Canadians who served and sacrificed for their country. Most ceremonies occur on Tuesday, November 11, but some start earlier in places like Port Dalhousie, Welland, and Jordan.

Last Sunday, Niagara Falls gathered at Chippawa Willoughby Memorial Arena for the village’s annual Remembrance Day event.

- Legion Branch 612: Ceremony Friday at 10:40 a.m. at cenotaph in Sho’aríshon Park, 2769 Fourth Ave., Jordan Station.
- Another ceremony by Branch 612 on November 11 at cenotaph beside Jacob Beam Public School, 4300 William St., Beamsville.
- City ceremony on November 11 at the cenotaph next to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Fairview Cemetery, 4501 Stanley Ave.
- Legion Branch 124: Ceremonies on November 11 at Queen Street cenotaph, 26 Queen St, and Queenston cenotaph, 116 Queenston St.
