Nicole Kidman, Jude Law and More Who Didn’t Let Lacking a High School Diploma Derail Their Success

Nicole Kidman, Jude Law and Others Who Succeeded Without a High School Diploma

Several celebrities achieved remarkable success despite not finishing high school. Jeremy Allen White, star of The Bear, recently shared a touching moment involving his education. On the October 23 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, he revealed he never graduated from New York City's Professional Performing Arts School because he didn't attend enough classes.

After the premiere of his movie Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere in New York City, an old teacher surprised him with a special gift:

“I wasn’t a good student because I didn’t go to school enough. And I was like, ‘Ah, you don’t have to do this, this is crazy, what are you giving me a gift for?’ And I open it up, and it is my high school diploma. So… at 34 years old, I graduated high school!”

Nicole Kidman, who holds two Oscars, also left school before graduating and has expressed regret about it. On 60 Minutes, she said:

“I’m a high school dropout, which I’m not proud to say. I had some teachers that I still think of fondly and were amazing to me.”

Despite this, she was determined to pursue acting by age 15 and moved to Los Angeles to follow her dreams.

These stories show that while formal education is important, dedication and passion can lead to success even without a traditional diploma.

Author's summary: Some renowned actors like Jeremy Allen White and Nicole Kidman overcame not finishing high school to reach great career heights, proving passion can outshine formal education.
