The new podcast will feature conversations from across the education sector, showcasing some of the impressive work within the Department.
Heather Sherkunov, Strategic Communications Manager and podcast host, shared her enthusiasm:
“I’m so excited to launch what will be our flagship podcast for the Department. I’m going to be speaking to people from across our organisation to explore themes in education, people-centred stories and also to give a flavour of some of the work that is happening here.”
She hopes listeners will enjoy insights from researchers, alumni, students, and industry experts on various education topics.
In the debut episode, Heather interviews Victoria Murphy, the current Director and Professor of Applied Linguistics. They discuss Victoria’s career journey, background, and research interests.
“I really hope listeners find the series interesting.”
