Drama: A Day in the Life of a 15-Year-Old Girl
Written and directed by Ciaran Creagh and filmed in Boyle, County Roscommon, this drama depicts one day in the life of a 15-year-old girl from a small Irish town. Though a work of fiction, it is closely inspired by Ann Lovett, who died on January 31, 1984, hours after giving birth to her stillborn son near a church in Granard, County Longford. Zara Devlin stars in the lead role.
