I Played a Traitor for a Day and Understand Why Alan Carr Struggled

The comedian Cat Burns, also a Traitor, has reached the final of The Celebrity Traitors. When Richard Osman said he wouldn't participate without the guarantee of being a Traitor himself, he was absolutely right.

After experiencing the game firsthand at The Traitors Live Experience—complete with our own version of Claudia Winkleman—I now fully understand his stance. Playing as a Traitor, the game was entirely under my control. By some chance, or perhaps the host selecting us as we entered, my boyfriend was named the other Traitor.

Almost immediately, I became like Alan Carr—a nervous, sweating, stumbling mess, nearly giving myself away through giggles. The first 'murder' left me feeling deeply guilty, especially since we had recruited an unsuspecting woman onto our team who had initially applied for the real version but settled for this experience instead.

When asked if the ‘Faithfuls’ knew why everyone was still at a pretend breakfast the next ‘morning,’ I couldn't resist mimicking Kate Garraway by saying, "Maybe they’ve been recruited."

Despite Kate's comments sparking suspicion towards her, I surprisingly stayed under the radar. We quickly decided on our next victim in the seconds allowed while the other contestants were blindfolded.
