Arsenal players Alessia Russo, Leah Williamson, and Chloe Kelly have earned a place in the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World 11 — the only international football award entirely decided by professional players. Over 6,000 women footballers from across the globe voted to select this year’s top team.
Unlike other football honors often determined by media, coaches, or fans, the FIFPRO World 11 is unique because the players themselves choose it, recognizing excellence within their own ranks. Voting covered performances between 11 August 2024 and 3 August 2025, a period marked by notable success for the Arsenal trio at both club and national levels.
This marks Russo’s second and Williamson’s third inclusion in the World 11, while Kelly joins the list for the first time in 2025.
"It feels special when it’s voted for by players – it means everything. They’re the people you want to impress; they’re the people you play with every day. They’re the people that matter most to me and the people you want to do well for."
Three Arsenal stars—Russo, Williamson, and Kelly—earned recognition from their peers in the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World 11 for outstanding contributions to club and country.
