WME Independent Launches AFM Sales for Romantic Comedy Starring Pete Davidson and Ella Purnell
WME Independent is launching international sales at AFM next week for the upcoming romantic comedy That Time We Met, starring Pete Davidson and Ella Purnell.
Creative Team and Storyline
Nick Lieberman will direct the film, based on a screenplay by Mitchell Winkie. Lieberman previously gained recognition for Theater Camp, which sold to Searchlight Pictures at Sundance 2023.
The story revolves around a couple who strongly dislike each other after their first date but discover their unborn child holds the key to saving humanity's future.
