Ferriday High School capped its regular season with a commanding 46-6 victory against Rayville High School in an LHSAA District 2-2A game held last Friday night at Dee Faircloth Viking Stadium, Vidalia High School. Ferriday remained the designated home team for the matchup.
The game was also Ferriday's Senior Night, with 10 seniors being recognized before kickoff. The Trojans quickly showed their strength on both offense and defense, leading to a comprehensive win.

Ferriday utilized both of their quarterbacks during the game. Dorian Taylor, the season's starting quarterback, played the first half, throwing two touchdown passes. Jase Harris took over in the second half and added one touchdown pass, providing the team a balanced passing attack.
"That allowed us to throw the ball," Scott explained. "Zylon Alexander did a good job running the ball. The offensive line did a good job blocking. It was a total team effort."
All 10 seniors contributed to the team’s success during the game. With this defeat, Rayville’s record dropped to 5-5 overall and 2-5 in district play. Ferriday concludes its regular season at 7-3 overall and 4-3 in district standings.
