Alarming Legal Threats After Vaucluse 'Pony Party from Hell'

Weeks after a children's birthday party in the affluent suburb of Vaucluse erupted into a heated argument, the fallout has escalated into a war of words involving legal action.

The dispute began when Danielle Plaskitt, operator of the pony ride business My Pony Party from Sydney’s northwest, clashed with real estate agent D’Leanne Lewis during the third birthday celebration of Lewis’s daughter, Lyra. The event took place at Kimberley Reserve in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on September 28.

Lewis, known for her role on Amazon Prime Video’s Luxe Listings Sydney, uploaded footage of the incident to her Instagram, where it reached her 70,000 followers. The clip showed Plaskitt appearing visibly upset, commanding:

“Get away from my ponies, now!”

Plaskitt later defended her reaction, explaining that she became frustrated after guests ignored her company’s terms and conditions, behaved disruptively, and made parking arrangements difficult for her team.

Following the viral circulation of the video and subsequent media coverage, both parties are reportedly exploring legal remedies. Lewis has already issued a cease-and-desist notice to Plaskitt.
