Actor Glen Powell, known for his Hollywood success, has revealed that he is secretly studying for a bachelor’s degree at a major university. Despite his busy acting career, he found time to return to college and complete his education.
Powell originally enrolled at the University of Texas in 2008 after finishing high school but left to pursue acting in Los Angeles when his career took off. Now, he has decided to resume his academic journey.
“I am enrolled at the University of Texas right now,” he told Variety. “It’s been nuts.”
He explained that he first majored in economics but later switched to study radio-television-film in order to complete his degree properly.
“I’m finishing properly. I’m not doing the honorary degree… I’m taking six credits a semester. So, I will finish in spring 2027.”
Powell shared that he plans to celebrate graduation with his co-stars from The Running Man, including Josh Brolin and Lee Pace.
“I’ll throw a graduation party if you guys want to tear it up in Austin.”
