In Chortkiv, Ternopil region, two solar power stations with a total capacity of 50 kW have been launched to power the maternity and infectious disease wards of the Central City Hospital. This initiative is the first in Ukraine where women trained in the “Solar Power Plant Installer” program participated in installing municipal solar systems.
The installed solar stations are expected to generate up to 50,000 kWh annually. This will help the hospital save more than 400,000 UAH each year on electricity costs.
“We are proud to support Chortkiv — a city with a truly forward-looking mindset.”
