Burrow chose to dress as Batman’s infamous clown-themed nemesis, the Joker. At many costume parties, Halloween events, and comic conventions, the Joker is a common sight.
Most people opt for the Heath Ledger version from The Dark Knight, while others sometimes choose the Joaquin Phoenix or Jack Nicholson portrayals. The Jared Leto Joker is rare due to poor reception, and the Cesar Romero version is considered outdated.
Burrow’s Take on the Joker
Burrow’s costume mimics the Ledger-style Joker, a choice that demands attention to detail given its popularity. The makeup was applied skillfully, and his wild green hair captured the character’s look well.
“Now, if you go to any costume party, Halloween event, or comic book convention, you're going to see a ton of Jokers. It's even worse because everyone goes with the same version of the Joker for the most part, and that's the Heath Ledger/Dark Knight version.”
