Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog scored his first official goal of the 2025–26 NHL season during the second period of a game against the Anaheim Ducks. The moment was a relief for Landeskog, marking his first goal that officially counted after two previous disallowed attempts.

Landeskog had previously scored against the Dallas Stars during the playoffs last year, but this was his first regular-season goal since March 5, 2022.
