Marvel Rivals Season 5 Release and Features
Marvel Rivals Season 5 will launch on November 14, 2025, introducing new playable characters Rogue and Gambit. Shortly after, on November 27, a new game mode called Conquestion (Annihilation) will be available, set on the Grand Garden map.
New 18v18 Game Mode
The Conquestion mode features an 18 versus 18 format, involving a total of 36 players, promising intense and chaotic gameplay as highlighted by NetEase.
Character Reveals and Gameplay
The season, titled "Love is a Battlefield," was announced through the Dev Vision Vol. trailer. It showcases various Marvel couples, officially unveiling Gambit and Rogue. Cyclops appears briefly, sparking speculation about his potential addition to the playable roster.
- Gambit acts as a Strategist, combining kinetic energy control with his signature playing cards.
- He offers agile movement and expert combat skills, providing a distinctive playstyle.
- Gambit can use Chornovium-enhanced cards to trigger kinetic shifting, which heals allies.
Season 5 Battle Pass
NetEase also shared a preview of the upcoming Battle Pass, named "Grand Garden Adventure," featuring 10 new costumes and exclusive cosmetics for players.
