Charlotte Crosby: 'Jake and I Are Going Through Tough Times'

Charlotte Crosby opened up about the challenges of balancing motherhood and career, admitting that life with two young children has put real strain on her relationship with fiancé Jake Ankers. Since finding fame on Geordie Shore in 2011, her priorities have shifted dramatically toward family life.

Now focusing on raising daughters Alba, three, and Pixi, nine months, Charlotte confessed that becoming a family of four has been both rewarding and overwhelming. She spoke to Closer about the day-to-day chaos and exhaustion of parenting.

“I honestly don’t even have the words,” Charlotte said when asked about adjusting to two kids. “One child was so easy, and then two children is just like… I don’t know if there are even words in the dictionary to describe the absolute chaos. And the exhaustion of two children – it’s excruciating. It’s getting a bit easier now Pixi’s a little older. She’s only nine months, but from day one it’s been a lot.”

Charlotte, 35, and Jake, an entrepreneur, have been together since late 2021. He proposed during their holiday in Dubai in 2023. While in Australia for work earlier this year, Charlotte shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about Jake’s devotion.

“OK, can we take a minute to appreciate Jake. He flew the whole way around the world to surprise us in Australia. Tonight, after weeks of broken time together, we are having a well-deserved bit of quality time. Relationships aren’t always easy.”
