Sony has officially confirmed a new State of Play showcase, set to air tomorrow, 11th November, at 2pm PT / 5pm ET (10pm in the UK). The presentation, titled State of Play Japan, will last around 40 minutes and highlight upcoming PS5 titles from Japan and Asia, along with a few additional updates.
While Sony has not revealed a detailed lineup, the event is expected to feature games such as Where Winds Meet from Chinese developer Everstone Studio — a title previously confirmed as a PlayStation console exclusive at launch. Fans are also speculating about appearances from Elden Ring: Nightrein DLC, Phantom Blade Zero, Tides of Annihilation, and Infinity Nikki.
There’s also hope to see a glimpse of Petit Planet, a cozy life-simulation game from the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, as well as potential news on Nioh 3.
“When word of tomorrow's State of Play first fell onto the news desk, many of us here at Eurogamer started hoping for something more from Bloodborne. Keep your fingers, legs and toes crossed people! It has to happen sometime, right?!”
Fans remain optimistic for long-awaited updates or remasters, with Bloodborne being the most anticipated surprise many still hope to see.
The upcoming State of Play Japan promises new gameplay showcases from Asian developers, possible major updates, and a healthy dose of fan speculation ahead of tomorrow’s event.
