The Sidebyside Festival, a grassroots electronic music and arts event in Adelaide, has announced its 2026 lineup and a new time-based ticketing system designed to offer more affordable access while supporting emerging artists.
Scheduled for January 31st at Tulya Wardli/Helen Mayo Park, the festival continues to celebrate sonic innovation, immersive design, and community spirit. Since its inception in 2019, Sidebyside has aimed to bring electronic music “out of the club and into the open air,” gaining strong local support.
"Each year we aim to curate a sonic journey from start to finish, one that celebrates artists our community know and love, and those they’re yet to discover," says Festival Co-Director Elliott Jamie.
"We’re driven to provide a world-class platform for local and Australian talent while giving underground artists an opportunity to play a major festival stage, right herein South Australia."
The new ticketing system offers two tiers, balancing affordability for attendees and support for emerging musicians, enhancing the festival's mission to foster electronic music culture.
