The LA Kings (6-4-4) secured their first home victory of the 2025–26 regular season, shutting out the Winnipeg Jets (9-4-0) with a 3-0 win on Tuesday night at Crypto.com Arena.
Los Angeles started strong defensively, holding the Jets without a shot on goal for the first eight minutes of the opening period. The Jets’ first potential shot, which found the net, was overturned due to goaltender interference committed by former Kings forward Gabriel Vilardi after a successful coach’s challenge.
With under three minutes left in the first period, a newly assembled Kings line capitalized on a scoring opportunity. Joel Armia played a key role, making a decisive move in the offensive zone to set up the goal.
“It was a big night for milestones as the LA Kings defeated the Winnipeg Jets by a final score of 3-0.”
The Kings’ first home win of the season was defined by milestone achievements, solid defense, and a standout performance by Darcy Kuemper in goal.
