After months of searching, I'm thrilled to have discovered a highly-rated Filipino restaurant in the heart of New York City. Lolo's Filipino Kitchen, located in the East Village, is a hidden gem that serves authentic and delicious Filipino cuisine.
"We want to bring a taste of the Philippines to New York City," says Lolo's owner, Chef Florante. "Our food is a reflection of our culture and heritage."
Lolo's menu features a wide variety of Filipino dishes, including adobo, sinigang, and lechon. I opted for the adobo, which was tender and flavorful. The portion was generous, and the price was reasonable.
What impressed me most about Lolo's was the service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner, Chef Florante, made sure to check on me throughout my meal.
I highly recommend Lolo's Filipino Kitchen to anyone looking for a authentic and delicious Filipino dining experience in New York City.
