A man in his 30s allegedly forced his ex-partner to consume a dangerous drug by "kissing" her and placing a white powder into her mouth, a prosecutor said. The man appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday, November 7, but has not yet pleaded to charges.
"The man allegedly deposited the substance into his ex-partner's mouth without her consent and in disregard of her safety and her health," prosecutor Bwalya Chifuntwe stated.
Mr. Chifuntwe also said the drug caused the woman to become sick, highlighting multiple incidents where the man "consistently imposed his will onto another person."
The man was arrested on the night of Wednesday, November 5, after the woman reported the incidents to the police. He has not entered pleas to the charges.
Summary: The accused allegedly forced his ex-partner to ingest harmful drugs against her will, showing blatant disregard for her safety and well-being.
