Edinburgh Trams will honor Remembrance Sunday (9 November) and Armistice Day (11 November) to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in World War I, World War II, and recent conflicts.
To recognize these sacrifices, Edinburgh Trams will offer free travel for veterans and active members of the Army, Navy, and Air Force on both days. Eligibility requires showing military ID or wearing a uniform.
“Each year I am proud to show our support at Edinburgh Trams on both Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day,” said Lea Harrison, Managing Director of Edinburgh Trams.
“As a former veteran myself, and with several colleagues who are ex-service men and women, we are passionate about honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.”
Edinburgh Trams’ tribute creates a meaningful opportunity for reflection and recognition of military service and sacrifice.
