Veteran Actor Stanley Fung Dies at 81

Veteran actor Stanley Fung (馮淬帆) passed away on Friday at the age of 81, as confirmed by New Taipei City Councilwoman Tsai Shu-chun (蔡淑君). The announcement was made on Saturday via Facebook by Tsai, who represented the Linkou district where Fung had lived.

Fung, who was single and lived alone, shared a personal friendship with Tsai. Their bond grew through their mutual support for the Republic of China (ROC), and Fung frequently joined her at New Year’s flag-raising ceremonies in Linkou.
