Clemson delivered a commanding 97-59 victory over Gardner-Webb at Littlejohn Coliseum on Friday night.
Clemson (2-0) opened strong with a 14-3 run, which Gardner-Webb (0-2) ended with a three-pointer by Spence Sims. Sims and Jacob Hudson each scored 11 points, leading the Runnin' Bulldogs.
Gardner-Webb struggled with foul trouble as starters Julius Clark and Curtis Williams both fouled out early in the second half.
Clemson has won its first two games by 50 and 38 points respectively, marking the 10th time in program history the Tigers have won their first two games by at least 25 points. This is the first time since the 2009-10 season that Clemson opened with two wins by 35 or more points.
Clemson is set to face Morehead State at home on November 11 at 7 p.m.
