Kazakh carrier SCAT Airlines will begin operating weekly flights between Prague and Sanya, with a stopover in Bishkek. The service will use Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
SCAT Airlines, a lesser-known carrier from Kazakhstan, has been active since 1997. It is one of the oldest airlines in the country, initially serving domestic and regional routes across Central Asia. The airline's main hub is Shymkent Airport, with additional bases in Aktau, Nursultan, and Almaty.
Currently, SCAT operates a fleet of approximately 32 aircraft, including Boeing 737, 737 MAX, and 757 models, according to ch-aviation.
