Munich Airport Opens Christmas and Winter Market
Munich Airport (MUC) is once again transforming into a winter wonderland for the Christmas season. Celebrating its 25th year, the Christmas and Winter Market will open on Friday, November 14, at the Munich Airport Center (MAC).
The market will run until December 28, 2025, inviting travellers, visitors, and airport staff to enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with twinkling lights, a decorated pine forest, cozy huts, and the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds.
Market Highlights
- Approximately 40 stalls featuring handmade gifts, regional culinary specialties, and winter treats
- A 600 square meter ice rink offering skating and curling, with bookings available via the website
- An extensive entertainment program including Advent wreath making, Christmas crafts, ceramics painting, and face painting for children
- Magic shows and soap bubble performances
Special Events
Santa Claus will visit the market on November 27, December 6, and December 19, distributing sweets to children.
New this year is the “Wish Tree” initiative, scheduled for December 6 and 7.
