The Fashion of Film: Vogue World Recap
In October, celebrities and fashion leaders gathered at Vogue to celebrate the deep connection between fashion and cinema. Vogue World: Hollywood took place on Sunday, October 6.
To promote the event, American Vogue's September issue featured Ayo Edebiri, Nicole Kidman, and Greta Lee. This event builds on the inaugural Vogue World show, which premiered in 2022 in New York to mark Vogue’s 130th anniversary.
Since that first show, the production has grown notably. Sponsored by Chase Sapphire, eBay, and Eli Lilly and Company, this year's runway was set on a street behind Paramount Studios, attracting celebrities, models, and fans. Los Angeles proved to be the perfect backdrop for a night blending fashion and film.
The event drew a diverse crowd, including Anna Wintour, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and entertainment executive and sports agent Casey Wasserman.
The show was divided into seven acts, with costume designers from notable films collaborating alongside creative directors from top fashion houses to bring iconic film styles back to life.
