The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $843 million, making it the eighth largest in the game’s history. Drawings are streamed on ABC 7 New York every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m.
Friday’s drawing marked the 38th consecutive one since the last jackpot win in Virginia on June 27. This streak sets a new record, surpassing the previous 37-drawing record from January 22, 2021, when a $1.05 billion jackpot was claimed in Michigan.

Each Mega Millions ticket costs $5 and includes a random multiplier that can increase the base prize by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X. Half of the ticket sales revenue stays in the state where the ticket is sold, supporting local charitable causes and retailer commissions.
The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 23, while the odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.
Mega Millions tickets are available in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C.
