The first trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is expected to debut this December alongside the release of James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash. According to Collider, multiple sources indicate that the initial footage from the MCU's next major team-up film will be attached to this highly anticipated installment of one of Disney's blockbuster franchises.
Collider also notes that plans could change before Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on December 19, 2025. Avengers: Doomsday is set to premiere nearly a year later, on December 18, 2026. As of this article's publication, Disney had not responded to IGN’s request for comment.
The filming of Avengers: Doomsday was completed in September. While specific plot details remain limited, it is confirmed that the movie will unite the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and the original movie X-Men on the big screen for the first time.
Several actors previously involved in Marvel projects—including Brie Larson, Famke Janssen, Elizabeth Olsen, Charlie Cox, Andrew Garfield, Halle Berry, and Chris Evans—have either remained tight-lipped or denied reprising their roles in Doomsday. However, Channing Tatum, returning as Gambit, recently mentioned:
“Avengers: Doomsday will include moments 50 times bigger than when Wesley Snipes' Blade turned up in Deadpool & Wolverine.”
The forthcoming Avengers: Doomsday trailer is poised to launch with Avatar: Fire and Ash, promising an unprecedented MCU crossover with epic scale moments hinted by returning cast members.
